IDDRI- Strengthening National Coal Transitions to Raise Climate Ambitions
Although the evolution of the coal sector is still uncertain today, its share in the global energy mix is nevertheless projected to decline significantly. Coal production has substantial adverse impacts, whether in terms of CO2 emissions or of public health, making it necessary to mitigate them.
